MATH HUNT

What is a tessellation? a tessellation is shapes connected together to make a pattern like bricks.  they are a tessellation because they are connected.  there  are also mirroring and reflection.

 We had a hunt on tessellations in our school we went into the sports shed and we saw balls that had tessellations on it like the lines on it and we saw tropes with 3D squares on it .

and we also saw bricks that can also be a tessellations and bench seats because the wood is connected together to make a pattern . 

these are all the tessellations that we found in our school
