In November we had a guest speaker from the University of Auckland. If you want to contact him you can with this email address which is jamie.stavert@gmail.com.
He taught us about what Auckland looked like before we turned it into a massive city where thousands of people live, NOW it does. A lot of animals used to live in Auckland now less then half of that lives in Auckland.
He also taught us why some of NZ's pollinators need to stay alive. Because they have a role in all of the food we eat for instance fruit, vegetables or even bread. They even help with making coffee or tea.
The person that told us was very nice and calm and he didn't hesitate at all which was amazing, I think we all learn't something from him.
