Each group researched about a different astronomer and wrote down information for their group. After 5 days of researching they come together to share their knowledge. The groups worked together to write a document about their astronomer and how they did it.We shared the knowledge with everyone else by making posters, slides,speeches , plays and some people did models and totally different things.
Most of the astronomers barely used telescopes. I learnt that the astronomers had more than 12 theories!. I also learnt that some astronomers also only used their eyes just to figure out a million things!. The groups could only choose 1 astronomer.The astronomers were Ptolemy,Copernicus,Aristotle,Edwin hubble and Galileo galilei! The students really worked hard like me. Especially the really good focussed people. they worked hard to make their presentation the best in the school!!!
Technology that our astronomers used changed over time and so did our knowledge of space! At first the theory that the earth was in the middle of the universe was corrected to be that the sun is actually in the middle of the solar system and also that the world is not flat! It is round!
