Bouncing Ball Experiment


The experiment 


Aim: to find out if a ball dropped from twice as high will bounce twice as high.



Hypothesis: That the ball will bounce twice as high.


Materials: 

1. Metre ruler or tape measure
1. Handball or some other bouncing ball

Method:


Drop the ball from 50 cm and record the bounce height. Repeat ten times and calculate the average


Drop the ball from 100cm and record the bounce height. Repeat ten times and calculate the average


Drop the ball from 200 and record the bounce height. Repeat ten times and calculate the average
