On Tuesday 27th March, Finny, Zach and I went to Bay Suburbs. Bay Suburbs was at Sacred Heart swimming pools. There were 9 other schools competing. These schools included St Heliers, St Thomas', Kohimarama, Churchill Park, Parnell, Oraki, Glendowie, St Ignatius and Meadowbank. When we walked up to Sacred Heart, all the schools were already there. On the bleaches, there were pieces of paper that said which school sits where. We sat down and had a bite to eat. I think we lacked a bit of confidence. Mr Kloppers said that if we wanted to we could jump in the pool and get used to the water temperature. Now some people started to get quite bored so the used their creativity to create a game that would pass the time. Lots of people decided to go in and warm up. Afew minutes later, we were finally starting the first race. "Take your marks! Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!"
